Use of functional textiles

Moisture management fabric is one of the functional textile material which has been developed. The main concept of this type of fabric is quicker drying rate and efficient removal moisture away from the skin. Textile fabrics finished with phase change material (PCM ) can be used to manufacture garments e.g for sports, fire resistant, cold protective etc. As PCM paraffin can be used in the spinning dope or as coating material. When the temperature reaches to melting point of PCM it absorbs heat and melts, heat is released when the temperature reaches the freezing point.
