Skin sensory comfort
Sports, everyday and leisure wear should feel soft and comfortable on the skin.
Textiles must not scratch or feel stiff.
A pleasant sensation of friction between skin and textile is often obtained by means of a slightly hairy inner clothing surface ( Figure 8.1 )
Specially for sports wear, the sensory aspect is more important than everyday and leisure wear.
The clothing should not cling to skin due to higher level of sweat produced as because wet skin frequently causes irritation.
