 Skin sensory comfort

 Sports, everyday and leisure wear should feel soft and comfortable on the skin.

  Textiles must not scratch or feel stiff. 

 A pleasant sensation of friction between skin and textile is often obtained by means of a slightly hairy inner clothing surface ( Figure 8.1 )

 Specially for sports wear, the sensory aspect is more important than everyday and leisure wear. 

 The clothing should not cling to skin due to higher level of sweat produced as because wet skin frequently causes irritation.
