Clothing fit and movement apparel
As the body moves body dimension changes with increasing in one side causes decrease in other side. Change of body dimension due to body movement, some example is given below:
With the increase in body dimension over bending joint area if the clothing does not increase in dimension or with the decrease in body dimension clothing bunches and binds which impede movement will create discomfort . This effect will be increased if the clothing is tethered to the body due to design. For example a coverall that may tethered between the crotch and shoulder and neck area. Body movement in clothing may be accommodated in many ways e.g by loose flowing clothing ( Borka ), un attached areas between garment, close fitting clothing made with elastic material, design features (pleats, elastic ).
